Kevin Keegan facing Newcastle United crossroads

Seriously lads and lasses, this kind of story was the very last thing that I want to read at this moment. After being slight relieve on Toon’s last juvenile deadline signings last night, I don’t want to see Keegan walk away from the club today.

Mind you, all the press today are busy reporting and updating the news, but deep inside I hope MA will keep and calm him down. I can not imagine what the Toon Army would react if Ashley thinks Dennis Wise is better than Keegan.

Telegraph has this article this morning:

Keegan’s future has been the subject of speculation recently following numerous disagreements with owner Mike Ashley and director of football Dennis Wise.

He was called into a meeting yesterday at 2pm which, at the time, insiders described as “highly significant but not transfer related”.

According to reports, a heated discussion took place during which director Derek Llambias told Keegan that those in charge were not happy with his brief tenure.

Also the BBC has reported the same ‘bad scenario’:

Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan has been holding talks with the Magpies board as speculation mounts over his future, BBC Radio Newcastle understands.

Reports have suggested that the 57-year-old has been unhappy with the club’s policy on transfers.

Until now, still nothing from the club official site regarding to these issues, but I hope the best decision of all time that one Mike Ashley have to put on was to keep Keegan incharge and gave him more freedom in Toon’s transfer arrangement in the future.
