Another Barton on the Squad
Newcastle United Football Club have paid an extra £300,000 to secure Joey Barton’s signature. Although the first bid on this player once has been agreed at £5.5M, the other interest from West Ham and the £300,000 loyalty fee problem has delayed the transfer for a month.
Now, both sides are happy with the deal, and another Barton will wearing the sacred Black-and-white shirt. So, welcome to the club Joey!
Joey’s strong appearance on the field and his ambition to reach something for the club was a plus for him to get the sympathy from Toon supporters. This is the type of player that would fit well into what most of Toon Army wanted from a player. Not like some other player who will only want to play for certain cup places, and I believe Joey would become great and his defensive ability can help us alot this season.
