The silent act of Michael Owen about his future in Newcastle United’s Black-and-white shirt has launched some speculations and rumours about a new striker to replace him this season. One of the name was former Toon trouble maker Craig Bellamy, who has been reported for a return to St. James’s Park.The news of Bellamy making a return was commented by Toon Legend Alan Shearer. He is also well aware that his words will carry a significant weight on Tyneside. Shearer make his statement about this rumour with his question "has no one learnt their lesson about signing him?". Newcastle has showed Bellamy the exit door in January 2005, following a public row with former manager Graeme Souness. Just one day before his making the statement about Bellamy, Shearer has expressed his thought about Michael Owen. "I am sure there are lots of people who want to ask me whether I think Michael Owen will be at Newcastle next season," He told the Newcastle Evening Chronicle. The Magpies Zone predicted this pair to be a reincarnation of Ferdinand and Shearer.
