Transfer Speculation? Geremi on his way to Newcastle United, soon!

Geremi for Toon?

Chelsea’s surplus Geremi looks to set his way to Newcastle United. It’s reported earlier, Middlesbrough also being interest on Geremi. With £50m transfer kitty, Sam Allardyce is now scouring through England and abroad to rejuvenate fortunes at St James’ Park.

Cameroon international Geremi has spent a season on-loan in Middlesbrough, but it looks as though Newcastle have stolen a march for Geremi signature to become Allardyce’s fourth signing this season.

Allardyce is very hopeful to get a deal for the 28-year-old. Geremi is approaching the end of his contract at Chelsea and according to the Bosman Rules he will be available on a free transfer.

Geremi spent much of his time at Stamford Bridge on the bench, which is no wonder because they have so many players in the same position. It is thought he has had enough and now ready to quit the West London side for Newcastle where he will be guaranteed of regular first team football.
