I will not let anything else to ruin my celebration for the first Toon win under Keegan yesterday, not the cancellation of Indo Toon Army participation in a Futsal tournament, also the poor database system of Entrecard who robed more than 500 credits from my account since couple days ago.
“We don’t have a big squad. We’ve got to have all the quality available, and not having Mark Viduka for the first five or six weeks was a blow, but having him back for the last eight or nine matches is a massive boost for everyone.” Said Keegan, quoted from the club official site.
King Kev also give special praise for Michael Owen. “He does what he does better than anyone else in the Premier League. He’s different, and the goal he scored was superb.”
In general, not just Keegan who delighted for the progress that we made in the last couple games. To hear the crowds singing Walking in a Keegan Wonderland was so special, and it’s the mark of the return of Newcastle United cavaliers side.
It took nine games before Keegan can bring the smile back in everyone’s face, but for us no matter how long it takes, a win is always taste good, as sweet as wine and was great present from the club for the Easter’s celebration.
“It took longer than any of us thought. But it’s a really good performance today, considering everything. Not fantastic – but really good.” Keegan said more, “We played better against Blackburn and got beaten. Just because you are playing well doesn’t mean you mean you win. But today we thoroughly deserved our win, and showed character.”
A win is a win, but Keegan admitted after recently our ability has been questioned, the last two game results by our recent standards are deserved to have the mark as a great week. And after the celebration yesterday, Keegan has warned his squad and everyone that we’ve still got a lot of work to do until the end of this season.
The battle is not yet over, victory still has to fight for. Next destination target White Hart Lane. I hope to see more and more progress and the same high-spirited team with commitment like yesterday.
Happy Easter, and…Howay the Lads!!!
