]]>More of the club statement mentioning about how He is a valued member of the squad and it is only a year ago that he signed an improved long-term contract. For me that is clearly shows us who is the real James Milner is.
Soon after reading the club statement, there were plenty of arguments among the Toon Army that something is fishy about his transfer request. Some said that Keegan should be telling him the “big ship about to sail, do you want to be on it?” story, while not less of them are questioning about how many times he looked good against a strong team, and if we can get £10 million from selling him out, we should take it.
As on further of the club statement, Newcastle have not yet to receive an offer for James that has matched our valuation of him, while someone said to have seen a Villa delegation last night at Ricoh Arena.
So, until the club receive any official transfer offer for Milner’s service, he is still a Toon players, and we pay his wages so he must do his job. And if he really want to leave, he better double his motivation by performing well against Arsenal this weekend, and if he doesn’t, none will put their money on him and sign him away from SJP.

]]>Mike Ashley was seen wearing the new purple away shirt with Coloccini’s name on the back, with the player himself, a £9.5m switch to St James’s Park, also present in the directors’ box.
United in silver, our third away shirt, having an early attacking attempt from the visitors who are with their full Spanish Internationals who win the Euro 2008. But, it was Gutierrez that sparks life into the crowd as he accelerates through the midway inside the opposition half before being fouled by the trailing Baraja.
Strike partners for United last night, Martins and Duff combine well with both having couple of good chance to break the score in the first-half but it’s the visitors who took their chance in goal in 38 minutes.
Moretti’s lofted forward ball and Joaquin who unmarked goes for the ball in the penalty area and does well to finish in one swift movement low past Given from 10 yards out.
In the second-half Keegan introduced Alan “Sold-or-Not” Smith to replace Martins as the answer to the visitor’s Euro 2008 top scorer David Villa. And as predicted, Smudge has been given a very “warm” welcome by the Toon crowds.
Villa was quickly move into action as soon as entering the field with a moment of danger for us when Angulo finds him inside the area after pulled away from our defenders. Lucky for us, his right-footed drive smashes into the side-netting.
Newcastle finally got the game into level thanks to Gutierrez’s industry. His tremendous work wins a corner on the right. Guthrie delivers and found Damien Duff who has drifted in unmarked to power a header beyond a static Hildebrand.
The goal has lifted the lads, and they marching on to find the winner. James Milner have couple of chances to give us the lead before finally found the net in the injury time. Again, it was Gutierrez‘s cross that meet Taylor’s header but his effort come back off the post into the path of Milner who smash it back in for goal.

]]>“Since coming to work at Newcastle United I have quickly begun to appreciate the passion people have for the Football Club.” Mr. Llambias said.
“I firmly believe we have the right people with the right expertise, with Kevin Keegan back as manager and being fully supported by Mike Ashley and the directors, to take the Club forward again.”
Nice to read that Keegan is being fully supported by Mike Ashley. New players to signed very soon? I hope so. Keegan has been reported to broke off his holiday in New York today and will start the talk to potential transfer targets as soon as posible.
Keegan’s first deputy Terry McDermott said that although KK’s been away, he’s standby on his phone and trying his best to bring new players to Newcastle.
“Now we’ll be coming back in this week and we’re looking forward to the start of pre-season. Both myself and Kevin are great believers in a hard pre-season so that the lads are flying when it all kicks off.” Terry added more in the Journal.
The news of Keegan’s return home this week has emerged couple old and new speculations today that United is renewing their interest to bring Glasgow Rangers defender Carlos Cuellar. Daily Mail said that the Gers’ boss Walter Smith is keen to raise funds and if he can sold Carlos to United, he’s hopping to swoop Burnley’s Kyle Lafferty.
James Milner’s proposed move to Liverpool has become clear with an exchange deal involving the Reds youngster Danny Guthrie. While other news saying we have mackems in between for the signature of Celtic winger Aiden McGeady.

]]>“He’s got a lot going for him. Like one or two players now, he’s found himself on the outside just by circumstance, and the fact the team’s put a run together.” Keegan said in an interview with ChronicleLive, “But James could well be included in the game against Chelsea on Monday.”
Milner also taking part in Toon last trip to West Ham although not been named as one of United substitutes. Keegan wants to show him that he’s care and Milner is the player he like to be part of Newcastle team.
Meanwhile, Alan Smith’s agent has rejected any reports that linking his man with a move to Rangers. Recent reports suggested the Ibrox side has lining up a swoop for United’s man in the summer.
Smith’s representative Alex Black says the player is happy at St James’ Park and want to be part of Keegan’s revolution next season.
“Alan has no intention of leaving Newcastle, he is happy at the club,” Black told skysports.com “Alan is not thinking about anything else but coming back fresh for next season and helping Newcastle to success.”

]]>Mungo, a good friend of mine from the NotBBC forum was doing his incredible shopping list at CostCo two days ago. He is buying 24x Stella, 24x Peroni, 24x Kronenbourg, 12x Wolf Blass, Yellow Label Chardonnay and 12x Rosemount Shiraz. That should keep him going til Xmas Eve, and still have to buy some for New Years. Read more of his great “Shopping Report”.
While busy with his stuffs, Mungo saw little Jamie Milner and his Mom and Dad were in CostCo doing exactly the same. Obviously thrilled and over the moon to bump into a celebrity, the Milner family however refrained from harassing me for my autograph, funny lad.
Milner’s family is truly a lovely family and I think mum and dad liked me cos I got an invite over for a xmas drink on Boxing Day[1] but I told them, I would have to decline the offer cos me and Jamie were down at Wigan on that day.
One thing that comes on my mind, with all their (Milner’s) money, they’re was no need to go to a discount warehouse to get the provisions in? But then again, wor lass[2] pointed out that I should ask myself the same question?
“Must dash, I have to check on the Emre family to see how they are getting on” Mungo end his report with his Christmas hope being world-widely published
Now a little bit football. Milner is one great asset for Newcstle United. He is not just great on the field but also a humble young lad outside St. James’s Park. Mungo is so lucky to have meet him I must admitted.
But for Big Sam, he is backing United’s winger James Milner to continues his top-flight education in tomorrow’s game with Fulham at Craven Cottage. Sam Allardyce will need all his first team squad ready for a crucial away fixture and will try to get our (only) second away win this season. The Toon Army will backing the United team in the Craven Cottage’s Putney End.
“We know what we have to do now, and that’s to put an unbeaten run together, like Everton have done.” Said Allardyce, “They didn’t have the best of starts, and yet I think they’re now unbeaten in 11 matches and this is something we’re looking to do.”
And I guess, Big Sam already know to whom he will put his hope for another sparkling performance. Before flying to London, Allardyce told the Chronicle, “James Milner is a hugely experienced Premier League player now at 21, and he can only get better from here.”
