Geordie local singer and song writer Paul Martin has written a song for Kevin Keegan called “King Kevin Keegan” and already recording it in the studio on Wednesday 23rd January.
A few guest Geordie local celebs plus a few ex newcastle Players are there in the studio with him recording the backing vocals. The CD will be released in February in all North East shops and also available to download online.
Paul Martin will also featured 2 other songs written by himself, song called “Shearer” is a tribute to Big Al and a song called “We’re Geordies” clearly tells all about Paul’s love of Newcastle and the Geordie people.
The new album has had a huge response from the media and Paul performing live today in the Evening Chronicle and on ITV News tonight at 6pm onwards.
SkySports will also putting out a Worldwide Live Broadcast of Paul singing with the backing singers from the studio tomorrow as they build up to a 1pm meeting with the man himself.
The Cd contains four new songs King Kevin Keegan, Shearer, We’re Geordies, Get oot on the Toon and a bonus football chant called Toon Army. Paul will have a site dedicated to his Geordie songs ready within the next 24 hours called www.geordiesinger.com where you can download one song.
