Newcastle United have been gone too long in the Premier League “Map” and the fans are totally deserve the better from the lads tonight. It doesn’t have to be a glorious world surprising win against them, which I would love to see if possible, but some high spiritted Geordies passion and willingness to fight for their honor.
In 18 showdowns with Arsene Wenger, Sam Allardyce have won four and drew six with his ex-club. He said the way to achieve that such great result is by creating a mentality among the players which capitalised on Arsenal’s discomfort on each one of their travels up to the north.
“We need to build ‘No Fears’ of any team we were playing against, which was fantastic because they had to belief,” Allardyce said.
If they had done it once, they could do it again, did it again β and then it grew from inside the mind of every players which is a positive thing who will brought doubt into the minds of the oppositions.
“I know there are a few fears and trepidations because results are not going right, but these are the games in which you should be producing your best with a big crowd against a big team, showing what you can do against a side like Arsenal,” said Allardyce.
“There are some games that are more winnable than others and, obviously, this is not one of those games. Arsenal are the best team in the Premier League at the moment but they are not invincible.”
βIt is a period that is difficult for us. We did not expect it to happen for as long as it has, but it has. There are many different factors we could point to which have not helped our cause, but, sooner rather than later, we will get the victory which will settle us all down.β
All the people who are related to Newcastle United, especially the supporters must be able to end the depressing ritual of panicking the moment when there is cloud crosses a new dawn. But most of all, the never-ending spiritted Newcastle players would mean more for the Toon Army. And we love it, very love it to see they’re doing that tonight.
