Newcastle United gaffer told the official site that he was delighted to have Wesley Ngo Baheng on his reserves team. He believe Wes will shine in near future and his presents will bolster the Magpies’ youth ranks.
Baheng already made his debut against “Not so Reserves” macKems yesterday. United reserves surrendered 1-3 against a more mature reserves team with more than half of their squad were also member of Sunderland reguler first team squad.
Wes has already spent two weeks on trial earlier this season and the United coach team saw him did enough to win a permanent deal. His move was officially tied-up yesterday and he went straight into the squad for the second-string clash with Sunderland.
Big Sam is hoping former Le Harve youngster under United reserve coach Adam Sadler will progress and impress at reserve team level.
“In Wesley we have a very talented young prospect,” said the Newcastle boss. “I first had him at Bolton on trial before he came to Newcastle.”
Allardyce told He won’t go into the first team squad this season but he won a permanent place here after training for two weeks. Big Sam rated Him as one for the future.
Another United new signing, 17 years-old left back Ben Tozer didn’t make his debut but watched the reserve game from the stands with Hungarian Under-19 international Tamas Kadar. United were hoping to sign Kadar today after pushing to get him the necessary paperwork from the English Football Association.
