“We would like to keep him but the lad appears adamant that he wants to talk to the Premier League clubs, which I can understand.” Dunford added, “We are waiting to hear from Newcastle whether they have decided to sign him.”
The talented teenage striker Spear, who played for the Devon Schools’ under-15s last season, is already having talks with Dennis Wise when he travelled to the South Coast to meet with the player and his parents.
Spear mother, Caroline said Aaron has agreed to join Newcastle. They were very impressed with the offer from Newcastle and excited about Aaron’s future at Newcastle.
United is expected to complete the player transfer fee very soon this week, to believed around of £150,000 up-front, with additional fees to follow after certain milestones.
