]]>Ben Arfa once again our man of the match imho, while on the ball he’s very dangerous with his movement and pace, and one golden opportunity has successfully converted into goal in 18th minutes. This is what made our fans happy – as many of our fans placed a bet or two on him /our team. Luckily, even if they placed a draw no bet type of bet, they didn’t lose!
After the lead, it seems that we were a bit vurnerable while under pressure, our back four were struggling defensively and almost get caught by Agbonlahor in the start of second-half.
Newcastle’s regained the attacking dominance shortly with Remy and Ben Arfa blistering pace are continuing to torment the home side. Ben Arfa denied his second while his curling effort was saved by Brad Guzan’s.
But after Remy being brought off with Gouffran coming on in his place, we are once again under pressure and Benteke levelled with a bullet header.
Thanks to Yoan Gouffran who takes us back in the lead in 73rd minutes after taking the advantage from Ben Arfa’s fierce left-foot shot that can only parried by Guzan.
We could have couple more goals, with Cisse and Ben Arfa both are going close.
The verdict, I can see some improvement going in the squad and hopefully this team can keep the team spirit and stay free of injuries at least until the next transfer window re-open in January next year.
Tiotte is back in the game, while Cabaye is still not in his best performance but soon he will be. In defense I think we still have plenty of work to do, as well as to bring Cisse’s killer instinct back.

]]>All in all the style of the shirt is nice to look at and quite popular given the fact that the new Puma King 13-14 template has also been used for other football clubs like Feyenoord or Dortmund.
The real reason for the problem was actually the club’s sponsorship with Wonga and the logo on the shirt. The Senegalese player Cisse has refused to play in a shirt that promotes a controversial money-lending company.
But the question was never to cancel the contract with Wonga which is worth around £8 million a year. So after discussions, thoughts and reflections Cisse has been convinced to accept the fact and keeps on playing for Newcastle United. With the help of the Bet365 promo code fans can bet on his performance in the next season.
And during his first appearance in the new outfit Cisse even managed to score after 19 minutes in the friendly pre-season game against the Scottish team St Mirren. Afterwards the Senegalese player has stressed that “Now I think it is important for the team and the fans that we concentrate 100 per cent on football.” So we can wait in suspense for the outcome of the first match against Manchester City on the 19th of August.

]]>I would prefer Pardew not once again stuck with 4-4-2 formation while playing away from home against a team playing with five in midfield and with our midfield containing two lightweights, Ferguson and Anita.
Newcastle need to be far more solid while playing against Stoke City, that means Cisse needs to left out with Ba playing up front on his own, according to sportsbook review here.
In my honest opinion, continuing to play 4-4-2 using Ba & Cisse up front is extremely unlikely to prove any more successful than it has this season to date.
I’d pack the midfield with the most experience possible given the injury situation. If Steven Taylor had been fit I’d have considered playing him, Williamson and Colo, with Colo sitting in front of the back four. Unfortunately, we don’t now have that luxury. So, I’d go for 4-5-1 with something like:
Krul
Simpson – Williamson – Colo – Santon
Tiote – Perch
Marveaux – Anita – Jonas
Ba

]]>That day is when Kevin Keegan was Newcastle United manager and also our first Premier league season. Newcastle players who scored were Andy Cole and Rob Lee.
And when Cabaye finally break the deadlock with his typical shot on goal from a perfect Ben Arfa’s cross, I was screaming and thought that the goal would definetely a sign of our winning day.
The game starts with little chances in the opening minutes for both team with Luis Suárez, as we often saw keep performing what he can do best beside scoring goal, falling down to the floor with everytime he has been challenged.
In the 43rd minute Hatem Ben Arfa overturned Jose Enrique down the right flank before serving the ball over to the far post where Yohan Cabaye is waiting to controll the ball and then volleyed past Brad Jones.
To be honest, their equalising goal also a special one, from you know who and that will keep me thinking of why that such quality player would have another equally high quality skill to easily down to the ground.
Suárez from the start, had a constant battle with Coloccini from within minutes of play when he was appealing in vain for a penalty for a slight contact from Colo.
His intention is finally come to a conclusion with seven minutes remaining which I hate to say but it may have been a well deserved red card for our captain although from a replay there’s no hars damage was inflicted. As for the remaining seven minutes plus four of added time, we fought hard to keep the score sheet in ballance, and come out from there with a point.

]]>We did had done most of the attacking last night, but was repeatedly fail to find the net where the visitors are often stretched us with their counter attacks which produce their equalising goal in the second-half.
The Magpies hardworking players are finally get the goal ten minutes before the break. Tim Krul’s long ball met Shola Ameobi who flick-on the ball to Ba and beat Jonas Olsson in the air, before moved behind him and fired the ball first time to past helpless Ben Foster.
Without the presence of Tiote who was red carded last week against the mackem, We were looking weak in midfield. Perchinho and Cabaye could not put their foot on the ball to control the game.
Tim Krul has some real work to do to keep us out from the Baggies on loan striker from Chelsea, Romelu Lukaku who has two chances to break clear. After the break and, the Baggies had one effort ruled out for an offside before Lukaku finally scored.
It was a poor defending by Simpson. He’s failed to closing down Zoltan Gera so he can nodding in a cross, but again I hate to say that Coloccini who has great game last week, found guilty for not keeping with Lukaku.
On a respond to their goal, Pardew bring in Papiss Cisse and Gabriel Obertan to try to safe the game. Sammy Amoebi later come in for a limping Ba.
Steve Clarke’s side maintained to sit back and occassionally going up to pressure us, and when the game was thought to be another disappointing draw, it is the younger and more strength Ameobi’s shoot in the the 93rd minute meet Cissé’s back to provide the winning goal.
Newcastle United:
Krul, Simpson (Obertan 60), Williamson, Coloccini, Santon, Ben Arfa, Perch, Cabaye, Jonas, Shola Ameobi (Cisse 60), Ba (Sammy Ameobi 73)
West Brom:
Foster; Tamas, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell; Mulumbu, Morrison; Odemwingie, Gera (Popov 87), Dorrans; Lukaku (Long 65)
