]]>I know this also too early to say that we can guarantee our place in the top flight and is not impossible to reach the top of mid-table, with little help of luck, we even have the opportunity to back in Europe.
Alright, let’s now be more realistic and back-to-earth. Our team now is relatively young in Premierships experience, some of them even have their debut in English football league, but not in quality. Hatem Ben Arfa, Tiote, and our own home-grown talent Tim Krul to name some of them.
Frankly, I am very impressed by their performance against Everton. Ben Arfa is a top class player and very interesting to watch him dancing with the ball. If he can maintain that kind of top quality display, I want him to get permanent contract.
In midfield, with the addition of Tiote alongside Barton, we have two rock-solid midfield while our two wingers Ben Arfa and Routledge operating in both sides were successfully resulting chaos in Everton defence.
I also surprised by Tim Krul performance in his Premierships debut. He’s stay calm and in full concentration during his sudden call for action following the injury of our main man Steve Harper.
The other lads performance are also great. They’re commanding each other and working hard to closed every movement from Toffees players. We successfully give them a hard game to deal with.
Newcastle was re-united, everyone involved in the game and when we look at our team average age it is clearly we have a very bright future, something that I haven’t thought before.
Stay positive, we will be alright this season and hopefully next year we will have more addition of quality players and ready to bid a serious challenge for the European place. Howay the Lads!

]]>What doesn’t kill you? If you love the TOON with all your heart then I think you already know what it is, but you will never know if you just love the TOON only if we can win 6-0 every weeks.
I know that most of football fans will feel disappointed when the team that they follow lose any game, but to make an early judgement about what will happen when the season end based on just one game is not an adult behaviour.
We, as Newcastle United supporters should also learn from the past. We must accept the fact that we (mostly) hung our expectation a little bit too high every year, and that kind of over-confidence gives more pressures both to the team and for ourselves.
Right now, this young Newcastle United team is in condition of rebuilding the foundation of what later would be the stronger Newcastle team ever and it is our job to give 100% of supports for the Lads and Chris Hughton every weeks.
Newcastle United (real) supporters are the most loyalest football fans the world ever had, let’s show the world that it is not just written in a paper or song lyrics, we will always be loyal to the club no matter if we lose or win.
Keep the Faith! Howay the Lads!!!

]]>The title was part of a shocking article from the Chronicle today by Alan Oliver. If you are regular visitor of this blog, you may so very familiar with him. He was famous with the ‘club insider’ and have so many ‘informan’, but these last couple days I see a little bit of solid report, or at least more reasonable story from him about the current Newcastle United situation.
Here’s the quotes from Alan’s article:
The morale of Newcastle United players has hit rock bottom during the current Kevin Keegan crisis.
That was revealed to the Evening Chronicle by one of the players’ representatives.
The players are 100% behind Keegan, have been told nothing and were furious when they heard reports that every United player was made available for transfer on Monday.
A player’s representative told me today: “Some agents say they were informed on Monday that every Newcastle United player could be bought and as you can imagine this has not gone too well.
“The players’ morale is rock bottom and at the moment they are demoralised and the only good thing about this is that they do not have a game until a week on Saturday because of the international break.”
Do you believe that? I was hard to accept it nor to believe what he write on the article, but what I can take as 100% genuine is that all Newcastle players are 100% behind Kevin Keegan, just like 100% of the Toon Army in every corner of the universe. And about the Newcastle players’ representatives, they could be Joey Barton and Michael Owen representatives.

]]>Also include from Sir Jonno message, Cummings was a member of the 64/65 promotion winning team and scored 8 goals in 24 appearances in that campaign. His total was 14 in 44 games for the Magpies.
He was one of those heroes who tossed their shirts into the crowd from “the stand” (we only had one in those days!) to us adoring fans who had come onto the pitch after we beat Bolton 2-0 to secure promotion. Sad to see him go.
RIP Bobby Cummings…

]]>These series of rumours have been connected by the fact that Newcastle will do a heavy cut of player wages and make reinforcement to build younger and fresher team squad. The sale of Milner has been suggested for ca. £5m – and both Liverpool and Everton are interested.
Our friends at Newcastle said, the propose to sell one of our younger, promising, and presumably lower paid members of the squad, if it’s true, will makes little sense to most of the Toon Army. If KK is thinking of parting with the lad, the only comfort we can draw from it is that KK sold Andy Cole – and was never afraid to sell anyone, no matter their stature in the squad, if he could see a way of improving things.
About our Turkey international midfielder Emre Belozoglu, currently under contract with until 2011 after joined Newcastle from Inter Milan for 3.8 million pounds in 2005, the AFP news today has made a report that Fenerbahce have agreed a deal with Newcastle.
Emre will sign a three-year contract with Fenerbahce worth 10.5 million euros (16.3 million dollars) next week. Other news is reporting Duff as one of mackems target.
Meanwhile, our skipper has new opinions about Kevin Keegan impact at Newcastle. From his latest interview with a media yesterday, Owen fancies KK to hit the ground running at the start of next season.
“It was never going to happen straight away. Not only did we have some tough games, but when he came we had a lot of players low on confidence. But if you could ever ask for a man to pick people up and get the best out of them, it’s Kevin Keegan.”
Owen think the more improvement to come from is that the Toon players are all enjoy training and playing alongside each other. Kevin has brought a real feelgood factor into the club. He is also backed Keegan to make four or five quality additions to the current Toon squad.
“He obviously knows his stuff. He can see a player, and he can see things that need tweaking. Tactically he is very good.” Owen added more, “And I think he has been a fantastic appointment for us, and we’ve all enjoyed his time so far.”
