]]>“It’s answered the critics we have had over last four weeks and it was a great performance in the second half and a great result.” Steve McClaren said on the BBC site,
“That is what we are, a bedrock of discipline and hard work. We have talented players, and they know how to win, we just have to do it consistently.”
Just before this game, United was in the bottom three and while under severe pressure McClaren knew that he had to turn it around to lift Newcastle out into 15th place, one place ahead of champions Chelsea who will face Leicester City on Monday.
Newcastle have won all of our last three league visits to White Hart Lane, and now it’s Aston Villa on Saturday in a game which McClaren see to consolidate United’s Premier League position before Christmas.

]]>This is the game that most of the Toon Army have something to fear of about the moral of team and the strength of our defense in particular. Many times I’ve read that our current position in the Premierships table was nothing but a luck, as they said, we haven’t meet the real test before today.
So, now I’m proudly say that we have a good team, with a very good determination and high spirited lads are willing to fight until the end and never surrender. We are capable of chasing the game in any condition, like today we are twice behind but we can responded very well to end the game 2-2 against this year “European” club opponent.
Before the match, I was feared of their pacey wingers and the skill of Van Der Vaart and Modric. I didn’t take credits to their striker, Adebayor is not the same person as he was couple of years ago when still with Arsenal.
Instead of the first goal was coming from his movement, I see it as our own fault who was failed to stop the ball that coming from the midfield. Steven Taylor also failed to anticipate the lose ball and gave enough space for Adebayor to run into our six yard box, and Taylor last try was bringing down Adebayor inside the penalty box.
In the second half we are starting to look for an equaliser, and it doesn’t have to wait longer than 3 minutes. In a nice United attack, the ball was coming to Gutierrez who runs for it and releasing a delightful cross infront of Brad Friedel goal who was passed through Spurs defenders into Ba’s foot who are free in the area to slot the ball and Friedel into the net.
Since that goal we are looking for more but through a counter attack we are once again failed to stop the ball from the midfield, and this time Jermaine Defoe who came in as substitute for Van Der Vaart, can take the adavance to fire in Spurs second.
Alan Pardew then make two substitutions to taking off Demba Ba and Best who surprisingly very quiet today and bringing on Hatem Ben Arfa and … Shola Ameobi. I’m trying to be honest here, to see Ameobi in I was thought that we will finally got beaten.
But, I was totally wrong, and I apologize to Ameobi who is coming in to rescue the point for United, with his superb goal in the 86 minutes. Just 9 minutes before that goal, Pardew also bringing in another player that I was desperately want to see him playing, Davide Santon to replace Danny Simpson.
Spurs have one other chance to get back into the lead but Krul succeeded to block another strike from Defoe. We also have a great opportunity to win this game through our skipper Coloccini who shot the ball wide in the dying minutes.
In general, I was pleased with this result and to see that we are still in good track. Bring in Wigan next week, until then thanks for coming to this site and Howay the Lads!

]]>One of the most possible move is the French winger Hatem Ben Arfa, as he was told to be ready to sign for a permamnent move to Newcastle following his season-long loan deal from French club Marseille. A fee to believe around £5.1million has been agreed between the two teams.
From another news report suggest that we also interested to get Robbie Keane and David Bentley out from White Hart Lane.
“Our priority is to strengthen offensively if possible,” Pardew said, as quoted from the Guardian website. “That will be the area we are looking at.”
“I think that if any player of that sort of quality becomes available, we will be interested in them,” he said. “If it’s possible to bring them to the club, we will definitely be having a look to see.”
Meanwhile, David Bentley is reportedly being added to Spurs transfer lists to free up space for the potential arrival of David Beckham. This probably less chance to become reality as I don’t think Spurs could really have any interests in Beck’s service.
More news, which I also doubt to be Toon’s genuine interests, are including the likes of the 21 year old Queen’s Park Ranger playmaker Adel Taarabt and Paris Saint Germain winger, Stephane Sessegnon, according to L’Equipe.
The 26-year-old Benin international Sessegnon, is contracted to PSG until 2013, but recently has announced his desire to leave the club following an altercation with PSG’s coach Antoine Kombouare.
The latest name was the 24-year old Bulgarian striker Valeri Bojinov which currently playing for Italian Serie-A club Parma. Bojinov has reportedly been told he can leave in January. The news has also sparked the interest from Wigan Athletic, as well as French club Bordeaux.

]]>However, although this hyperbole is certain to boost the confidence of a young man who has proved he very much enjoys playing in the big time and with the burden of expectation firmly on his shoulders, Andy Carroll has also shown a real touch of maturity by stating that he is an individual who is only thinking about helping to re-establish Newcastle United as a powerful and consistent Premier League force, even if the football rumours have linked him with a move elsewhere.
With Carroll having already found the back of the net four times this season, Newcastle United fans know that their young star will be vital to their plans if they are to avoid relegation this season, something the Newcastle betting tips suggest they should be able to do.
However, with Carroll already being linked with big money moves to the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle fans will be hopeful the club can cling on to a player who has a bright future.
Despite all the rumours surrounding the player, it is clear that Newcastle fans would dearly love to see the youngster turn out to be the long-term English candidate deserving of wearing the fabled number nine shirt of Newcastle United.
However, in the short term at least he will need to be at his best in Newcastle United’s upcoming fixtures, which are likely to demand the best from each and every player in the starting line-up.

]]>Kranjcar scored both goals in Croatia’s 2-1 Euro 2012 qualifier victory over Israel last Saturday and with his current situation at White Hart Lane where he has already been an unused substitute on six occasions, Newcastle United is to believed interested in acquiring his services at St. James’ Park.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are also being reported has preparing a move to sign Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor in January.
Taylor has already on the St James’ Park transfer list and I believe he will find it hard to claim his place back as the Toon centre back when he returns from being sidelined.
Our current centre back pairing, Fabricio Coloccini and Mike Williamson are Chris Hughton’s favorite at the moment and with the addition of Sol Campbell last summer, Taylor will have his chance to get his place back being very small.
The good news is, Andy Carroll has signed a new five-year contract with Newcastle United. Carroll is the product of Newcastle’s youth system, and he has pleased Newcastle’s managing director Derek Llambias, who said that Carroll and others like him are ‘the future of this club’.
