Last weekend, Glenn Roeder’s side Norwich City was defeated by Stoke City on the Nationwide division match. Today he has warned Newcastle United about “very hard game” for being paired with Stoke City in the third round of the FA Cup.
Roeder was sweating when the third-round draw was made when, until the last three ties to be revealed, both United and Norwich were still in the bag. He’s worried the United will have to face his side as the draw continuing to pick the ball with club name inside.
“It looked as though it was going to be Norwich against Newcastle, but United still face a very hard hard game at Stoke.” Said Roeder, “It is the old story of a team thumping the ball into their opponents penalty area at every opportunity, and Stoke have two hard-working strikers more than capable of cashing in.”
The Canary’s last game against Stoke that resulting a defeat for Roeder side showing 50 or 60 balls coming into their penalty area on Saturday which are two of them have found the net. But later Roeder said, Stoke do not have much pace, “If the real Newcastle turn up on the day they should go through.”
Don’t worry Glenn, the “Real Newcastle” is on the way to perform, starting this Wednesday. From that point, we will go forward or be nothing at all.
