Another French youngster have been widely reported recently to join Newcastle United in January. Charles N’Zogbia former club Le Havre AC is once again will provide their academy product for Toon
Wesley Ngo Baheng, born in September 23, 1989 and have been recently being promoted from Le Havre academy side to join LHAC B-team.
Wesley’s move should be far more straight-forward, with Newcastle already having agreed a compensation package with LHAC prior to the opening of January transfer window.
But in this case, Newcastle has been prepared well to eliminated the possible trouble during the transfer. Both side has agreed about the terms and will not repeating the controversial move of Charles N’Zogbia from the same French team to Newcastle, especially when dealing with the European Football boss, UEFA.
UEFA has a rule which is not allowing any transfer of a player who is not being signed as a professional footballer by his origin club. Baheng status now is a member of LHAC reserve team.
If the transfer is finally done in January, Baheng will join N’Zogbia, Habib Beye, David Rozehnal, Claudio Cacapa, Abdoulaye Faye and Geremi who are having experience in French division.
